Frequently asked questions
Which number bases are supported?
Binary (2), octal (8), decimal (10) and hexadecimal (16) can be chosen as input, and the value is shown in all four bases at once.
Will large numbers lose precision?
No. The conversion uses JavaScript BigInt, so arbitrarily long integers convert exactly without the rounding errors of floating-point math.
Are negative numbers supported?
Yes — prefix the value with a minus sign. The sign is preserved in every output base.
