Does the camera scanner need internet?
The camera image is processed locally. If your browser has the native BarcodeDetector API, decoding works fully offline after the page loads.
Why is my camera not working?
Browsers require HTTPS and explicit camera permission. Check the permission prompt in your address bar and allow camera access.
Can it scan barcodes too?
This tool targets QR codes. Some browsers’ built-in detectors also read common 1D barcodes automatically.
