Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?

No — the video is read from a temporary local object URL. The frame is drawn straight to a canvas in your browser and never sent anywhere.

Why is the captured frame blank?

Canvas capture needs the frame to be fully decoded. Pause briefly on the moment you want, wait for the image to appear, then press Capture frame.

What resolution is the saved image?

The capture uses the video’s native resolution, so a 1920×1080 video produces a 1920×1080 PNG or JPEG.
