Frequently asked questions
Do UPI QR codes expire?
No. The payment details are encoded directly in the pattern, so the same QR keeps working for as long as your UPI ID is active. There is no subscription or account.
Is a UPI QR code safe to share?
Yes. A UPI QR only contains your public UPI ID, payee name and an optional amount. It never exposes your PIN, bank balance or account number.
Can I set a fixed amount?
Yes. Enter an amount and the payer's app will pre-fill it. Leave the amount blank to let the payer type any amount when they scan.
